TEACHER TRAINING
Next program starts August 2008
Yoga Works offers one of
the most comprehensive Teacher Training programs in the
country for aspiring teachers and serious students of yoga.
Its cohesive, multi-specialist approach blends the best of the yoga tradition from the East and the
West. The dynamic and conscious practice of asana is the
cornerstone to the Yoga Works approach to teaching. To deepen
their education, students in the Yoga Works teacher training
will also study anatomy and physiology, explore yoga’s
philosophical underpinnings, practice meditation and pranayama as well as investigate the subtle body. Since
1988, Yoga Works has trained hundreds of teachers around the
world and continues to offer on-going curriculum to its
graduates.
This
program is a 200 hour teacher training approved by Yoga
Alliance.
CHARITY YOGA with our YW

Come support the
blossoming skills of our amazing teachers-in-training!
Throughout our weekend teacher training program until June, our
teacher trainees will be offering a mixed level charity class on
Sunday evenings after the training. All class donations will
benefit their chosen charity, the Wendt Center for Loss &
Healing and Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care. The Wendt Center for Loss &
Healing is a premier resource for addressing grief in adults and
children. Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care works to preserve, assist and
strengthen the well-being of children ages 5-18 infected and
affected by HIV/AIDS in metropolitan Washington, DC.
