Children today can experience
stress that affects their health, confidence, and emotional
development. Yoga designed for kids provides a unique approach
to help them de-stress and relax,
while engaging them in creative physical activity. Animal
imagery, visualizations, and music are used to recreate
traditional yoga techniques and poses in a way that promotes
cooperation and imagination. The proven benefits of yoga for
children include increased attention span, higher self-esteem,
improved sleep patterns, and a sense of awareness and respect
for themselves and the world around them. No prior experience
required, all mini-yogis (and a parent) are welcome.
